North Cascades National Park
North Cascades National Park in Washington State is a vast, rugged wilderness known for its jagged peaks, deep valleys, and cascading waterfalls. Commonly referred to as the "American Alps," it contains more than 300 glaciers.
The park is largely preserved as wilderness so the majority of its trailheads, viewpoints, and campgrounds are found along State Route 20.
Unfortunately fires and smoke limited our ability to fully explore the park. I would love to return, but am not sure how to do that with the climate change induced new fire seasons.
