Florida Critters

Joe is fortunate to get to hike in many wild places, and some not so wild, across our country. Here are some of his best critter photos from our time in Florida during the last year. A few have been posted prior to this, but most are new.

Florida is an amazing place to observe birds and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge near Kennedy Space Center is one of the premier places in Florida to do so. We spent December nearby and enjoyed several trips into the refuge. Near Merritt Island are both Canaveral National Seashore and Salt Lake Wildlife Management Area. The birds shown here are from these three wild places.
